Design and build
The VIZIO SB36312-G6 soundbar follows a sleek and minimalistic look. The drivers on the bar get a covering of black fabric, and the sides have a metallic accent to accentuate the overall glamour of the product. Most of the bar’s exterior is good quality plastic, and even the sides are the same. We would have preferred the front to get a metal grille to up the value quotient and the feel too.
The bar stretches 36 x 2.5 x 3.2-inches, making it a reasonably compact offering. It weighs 2.4 kg, acceptable by all standards. Given the size, it should fit most 55-inches TVs easily, but the height is good enough to allow it to sit flush below it conveniently. The company also ships the product with wall-mounting accessories, if you are more comfortable with that.
