Boston Acoustics TVee Model 20 Soundbar and Wireless Subwoofer

30-years old Boston Acousitics, the world-renowned leader in high-performance loudspeakers, tabletop products and advanced car audio systems, has announced its new TVee Model 20 Soundbar and Wireless Subwoofer system that retails for only $299.99.

Boston Acoustics greeted the year 2010 with the announcement of an upcoming TVee Model 20 Soundbar and Wireless Subwoofer System. The TVee Model 20 is a slim soundbar with matching wireless subwoofer to create powerful, room-filling sound and a gratifying bass tone. This new model uses Boston Acoustics’ innovative new Hyperbolic High Rigidity Transducer (HHRT) driver technology, and scheduled to be available in stores in March 2010.

The system is finished in an attractive gloss black and is designed with flatscreen tv and monitors 32” and above. It can be wall mounted or rest on any flat surface. Connection is simple with just one single cable. The wireless subwoofer can be placed anywhere within the room, even out of sight from listeners without interfering the signal. The TVee 20 also features Boston’s remote Learning Function that captures the signal coming from a user’s exiting remote to allow the control of TVee’s volume and mute commands without the need of an additional remote.

As one of the leaders in the industry, Boston Acoustics applies its expertise with low-distortion, wide-bandwidth drivers to create the new HHRT drivers featured in the TVee Model 20. The light and rigid cone uses a new and highly complex shape to reduce distortion. It enhances dynamic performance and widens the comfort range tones for the pleasure of listeners. The subwoofer has a 6” down firing bass driver that complements the rich audio experience delivered by the soundbar’s full range of drivers. While the system may sound highly sophisticated, it consumes only a total of 100 watts.
